Outro is a booking platform for Icelandic artists. For groups coming from abroad we do the booking ourselves: you send us the brief, we check which artists are free and put the evening together, and your company gets one invoice.

Travel agencies, DMCs and incentive planners bringing a group to Iceland who want local entertainment: a band or a DJ after dinner, acoustic music at a reception, a host for an awards night. You deal with one company, not with each artist.
Anywhere in Iceland
Most of the artists live in the Reykjavík capital area and travel to the group. We have put an evening together at a mountain hut in Þórsmörk, and travel is always priced into the proposal.
What to send us
The date, where the group will be, how many guests, the language of the evening and what you have in mind. A budget helps us pick the right acts, and a rough one is fine. Email it to outro@outro.is.

66 of 185 publish a starting price on their profile. The median is 50.000 ISK and half of them sit between 40.000 ISK and 80.000 ISK. A starting price is not a quote: the final figure depends on how long you need them, how many guests there are and whether travel is added. Every artist replies with a written quote before you pay anything.
Where they are based: the Reykjavík capital area (151), South Iceland (17), North Iceland (11), West Iceland (5). All of them take bookings anywhere in Iceland, but someone who lives closer usually works out cheaper once travel is counted.

Can Outro organise entertainment for a group we are bringing to Iceland?
Yes. Email outro@outro.is with the date, the place, the size of the group and what you have in mind. We check which artists are free and send you a proposal with one price.
Do the artists perform in English?
Music works in any language. For a host or a comedian, tell us the language of the evening and we only propose people who perform in it.
Can you invoice a company outside Iceland?
Yes. Outro sends your company one invoice in Icelandic krónur (ISK) and pays the artists itself.
Can the entertainment come to a venue outside Reykjavík?
Yes. Artists travel anywhere in Iceland, and the travel is included in the price we quote.
How far ahead should we get in touch?
As early as you can, especially for a Friday or Saturday evening. Send the brief even if the dates are not final.
What does entertainment cost?
It depends on the acts, how long they play and how far they travel, so every proposal is priced for the evening. The starting prices artists publish on Outro are on outro.is/en/entertainment-prices-iceland.
